The Dreamer’s Collective is a community of D.C.-based makers founded in 2023 by Yicela, Founder of Taqueria Habanero & Alegria and Kika, Founder of Flor Del Soul.

We host bi-monthly pop-ups at Bryant Street and Western Market, two of D.C.’s most popular food halls. We’ve recently expanded to curate a selection of products at Flor Del Soul, located inside La Cosecha.

We are a community of makers and curators committed to supporting local Latine and allied businesses while building meaningful connections.

As we grow, we’re annually welcoming new vendors, strengthening our presence, and expanding to new locations. We also focus on sustainable practices, such as fair vendor fees and thoughtful programming, including workshops, art exhibits, and panel discussions.

Our mission is to provide a strong foundation where every vendor can succeed in D.C.’s marketplace.

Community Impact

Each spring, we host a one-day outdoor market to mark Cinco de Mayo—welcoming new vendors, live entertainment, and over 700 guests. It’s become one of our favorite ways to kick off the season, rooted in culture and connection. One of our very first markets, held outside, started it all—and the energy hasn’t slowed down since.

In the fall, we host a Dia De Los Muertos weekend-long activation centered on honoring our loved ones and holding space for community. Through pop-ups, ofrenda installations, and creative programming, we honor loved ones past while spotlighting artists and makers. It’s one of our most meaningful gatherings of the year.

Workshops and Activations Schedule

Our programming is led by makers in the collective—folks who live what they teach. From pop-ups, floral arranging, and soap making to paint nights, it’s all rooted in building real community through meaningful, engaging experiences. We’re proud to hold space that’s safe, inclusive, and centered on the joy of our diverse neighborhood. Here’s what’s regularly happening at Flor Del Soul, follow our makers for registration and event details.

  • Eztilo: Shop curated simple, minimal, effortless clothing. Pops up every second Saturday.

  • Posey Ceramics: Dry floral impression ceramics workshops held every second Saturday (coming soon).

  • 100% Wool Design: Paint workshops every last Tuesday.

  • White Lily Shoppe: Natural soap making workshops every third Sunday.
